Plumbing Assembly/Fabricator

This role involves brazing and soldering together the components of process water chillers. These machines are used to remove heat in a variety of process applications, from large-scale bakery operations to medical equipment. The Plumbing Assembly/ Fabricator will install components like pumps tanks and fittings in the chiller frame; then cut, fit, solder/braze piping assemblies to match the engineered plumbing diagram. We rely on our Plumbing Assembly/Fabricators to be problem solvers, helping to find solutions when engineered drawings need to be revised during production, or new components need to be integrated into the chiller design.

Qualifications

  • Ability to read and understand plumbing and piping diagrams
  • Experience using basic hand and plumbing tools
  • Familiarity with soldering and brazing in a production environment
  • Ability to work in an unsupervised capacity

Refrigeration Assembly/Fabricator

This role is responsible for building the refrigeration system for process water chillers according to detailed specifications. These machines are used to remove heat in a variety of process applications, from large-scale bakery operations to medical equipment. The Refrigeration Assembly/Fabricator lifts and aligns components like compressors and evaporator tanks into the chiller frame, then builds the rest of the refrigeration systems using various methods and materials. This is a highly technical production role, that combines efficient practical assembly skills with refrigeration knowledge and experience.

Qualifications

  • Ability to fabricate and assemble structural and functional components of refrigeration system, using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
  • Ability to read blueprints to determine location, size, capacity, and type of components needed to build refrigeration system.
  • Familiarity with soldering and brazing in a production environment
  • Experience with refrigeration equipment and refrigerant handling best practices.
  • Ability to work in an unsupervised capacity
  • Willingness to supervise and instruct others as needed

Metal Finishing Technician

This team member grinds, polishes, and assembles metal parts and components for drinking water fountains. This is not your typical assembly job. Filtrine makes highly-customized and beautiful water fixtures. A typical day includes new problems to solve as you work to produce a one-of-a-kind drinking fountain for and art museum or one of your favorite brands. We’re looking for people that take pride in their work. This position is responsible for putting the finishing touches on the product, ensuring the drinking fountains we produce hold up to the highest standards of quality. Be prepared to leave each day with a sense of accomplishment and pride.

Qualifications

  • Attention to detail and strong work ethic a must.
  • Understanding the methodology used to create various finishes on metal surfaces.
  • Familiarity with grinding, polishing and graining metal surfaces.
  • Understanding of various chemical surfacing agents and their use in metal work.
  • Able to work in a team environment with direct oversight.

Custodian (Cleaning & Grounds Maintenance)

Filtrine is hiring a custodian and grounds keeper. The custodian performs general, routine custodial duties, to include dusting, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning restrooms, and restocking paper and soap supplies. In the spring and summer months, lawn mowing and grounds maintenance are included in the weekly responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • Experience performing routine maintenance on motors and building equipment is a plus.
