This team member solders and installs the components of process water chillers.

Chiller Refrigeration Assembly/Fabricator

Refrigeration Fabricators configuring refrigeration systems, brazing and soldering copper and/or stainless-steel materials.

After the coil is rolled and welded to the storage tank along with the piping, it is up to me to assemble it. I add and tighten the bands, put the end caps on and insulate the tank before it heads over to plumbing. For 11 years, I have been making sure each tank is built to Filtrine’s exacting standards.

For over 18 years, I’ve been in charge of the fountain department. We do the final assembly and testing of the Filtrine drinking fountains. While I work on all aspects of the fountain manufacturing process, my specialty is finishing particularly the bronze fountains. From satin to statuary to oil rubbed, I spend a lot of time making sure that the finish will be up to our customer’s standards.

In my 9+ years with Filtrine, every day brings a new challenge which I enjoy. I’m in charge of the small drinking water chiller department which ranges from the FC and FCC drinking fountain chillers up to the drinking water central chillers. In addition to assembling the chillers, we also test them before they go to the electrical department for wiring.

I’ve been at Filtrine for over 20 years. Currently I run the sheet metal department where all the frames, bracketing and external parts are fabricated. Working at Filtrine gives me the opportunity to use my creative talent in areas of operation and design. This allows me to contribute to the functionality and appearance of Filtrine products. We use a variety of sheet metals such as galvanized steel, mild steel, aluminum and bronze.

All new employees, regardless of skills or experience, are required to go through a training period, in most cases 90 days. During this time your skills, attitude and work habits will be evaluated.
