Production Job Openings

Chiller Refrigeration Assembly/Fabricator

Responsible for building the refrigeration system for process water chillers according to detailed specifications. The tasks involve configuring refrigeration systems, brazing and soldering copper and/or stainless steel materials. The size and complexity of the system will depend on the application specifications.

Overtime hours are available. Signing bonus: $2,500

Qualifications

  • Ability to fabricate and assemble structural and functional components of refrigeration system, using hand tools, power tools, brazing and soldering equipment including a torch
  • Ability to read blueprints to determine location, size, capacity, and type of components needed to build refrigeration system
  • Familiarity with soldering and brazing in a production environment
  • Experience with refrigeration equipment and refrigerant handling best practices.
  • Ability to work in an unsupervised capacity
  • Willingness to supervise and instruct others as needed

Salary

  • $25.00 – $36.00 per hour

Plumbing Assembly/Fabricator

Involves soldering together the components of process water chillers. This includes the installation of components like pumps, tanks, copper or stainless steel piping and fittings within the chiller frame. The design and piping configuration is to match the application specifications.

Overtime hours are available.

Qualifications

  • Ability to read and understand plumbing and piping diagrams
  • Experience using basic hand and plumbing tools and a torch
  • Familiarity with soldering in a production environment
  • Ability to work in an unsupervised capacity

Salary

  • $18.00 – $30.00 per hour

Metal Finishing Technician

This team member grinds, polishes, and assembles metal parts and components for drinking water fountains. This is not your typical assembly job. Filtrine makes highly-customized and beautiful water fixtures. A typical day includes new problems to solve as you work to produce a one-of-a-kind drinking fountain for an art museum or one of your favorite brands. We’re looking for people that take pride in their work. This position is responsible for putting the finishing touches on the product, ensuring the drinking fountains we produce hold up to the highest standards of quality. Be prepared to leave each day with a sense of accomplishment and pride.

Overtime hours are available.

Qualifications

  • Attention to detail and strong work ethic a must
  • Understanding the methodology used to create various finishes on metal surfaces.
  • Familiarity with grinding, polishing and graining metal surfaces
  • Understanding of various chemical surfacing agents and their use in metal work
  • Able to work in a team environment with direct oversight

Salary

  • $15.00 – $20.00 per hour

Filtrine Shipping Tech Building a Crate

Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Prepares chiller equipment for shipment and receives materials shipped to Filtrine. Operates lift trucks and hand trucks to move items. Builds crates for equipment to be shipped, using air and power tools. Completes and maintains paperwork for shipping materials including Bill of Lading and UPS shipping. Keeps stock of the inventory of shipping materials and supplies. Examines incoming shipments and reports defective packaging or materials to the stockroom personnel.

Qualifications

  • Good communication skills
  • Follows procedures and identifies potential problems.
  • Works independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexible, able to meet deadlines and handle a fast paced environment.

Salary

  • $15.00 – $20.00 per hour
