Plumbing Technician

Reports to: Plumbing Lead
This job requires a complete understanding of the plumbing process. These processes include working with copper, stainless steel and bronze piping and fittings. In addition proper understanding and use of soldering and brazing techniques as well as the appropriate skillset to utilize them is required. A complete understanding of the jargon used in the process, as well as using specific devices and their practical application. The safe use and understanding of pressures, fluids and hydrodynamics, various types of valves, and connectors,

Responsibilities and Duties
• Must be organized and orderly.
• Must be able to communicate effectively and utilize concentration.
• Must be able to perform the tasks in the Job Overview.
• Must be able to measure, cut bend and fabricate with pipe.
• Must be able to read drawings, prints or diagrams.
• Must be able to work in an unsupervised capacity.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time

Qualifications
• 2-3 years of applicable experience.
• High level of dexterity and motor skills.
• Responsible.
• Certifications in technical school not mandatory but a plus.

Refrigeration Technician

Reports to: Refrigeration Lead
This job requires a complete understanding of the refrigeration process. These processes include non-cyclic and cyclic refrigeration as well as thermodynamic power cycles and their effect on this process. Knowledge of the vapor-compression refrigeration cycle, the vapor absorption process and its use of ammonia as well as the various types of refrigeration techniques and absorption heat pump applications will be useful.

• Must be able to execute designs and initiate improvements.
• Must be able to read drawings, prints or diagrams.
• Must be able to work in an unsupervised capacity.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
