Closed Loop Split System Packaged Chiller for Philips Achieva Quasar 3T and Dual 3T, Nova 1.5T and Dual 1.5T MRIs

PCP-1500S-180-ARC

Filtrine PCP chillers use a storage-type cooling tank, with immersion coil evaporator, to provide close temperature control of recirculating coolants. Tank is sealed to prevent coolant evaporation or fouling, and is supplied with a liquid level gauge, fill port and clean out. The pump recirculates the coolant at a constant temperature, pressure and flow and is supplied with a manually adjustable bypass valve. This chiller is designed specifically to cool Philips Achieva Quasar 3T and Dual 3T/Nova 1.5T and Dual 1.5T MRIs.

Filtrine PCP-ARC chillers feature two units: a weatherproof outdoor condensing unit and a indoor cooling tank/closed loop circulating system.

Indoor Unit

  • Compact indoor cabinet contains cooling tank, pump, filter and all necessary diagnostic and operator controls

Outdoor Unit

  • Outdoor weather-resistant condensing unit takes the heat and operating noise away to a remote location
  • Low profile condensing unit for low visibility – 52″ high, may be concealed by parapet

Other

  • Microprocessor-based controls available to interface with building monitoring systems
  • Uses “Ozone Safe – Low Global Warming Potential (GWP)” HFO refrigerant

“Fail Safe” Options

  • DP – Dual Pumps: Automatic switchover to backup pump on loss of coolant flow.
  • LL – Low Level Interlock: Float switch in tank lights warning light if coolant level drops below safe low limit.
  • UPS – Uninterrupted Power Supply: Increased storage and separate UPS compatible connection for circulating pump. Keeps cold water flowing during power failure.
