Building a Career as a Welder and Metal Fabricator
Welders and Fabricators fit and join, fabricate, and repair metal and other material by applying appropriate welding techniques (MIG or TIG) in accordance with product specifications and industry best practices. Filtrine Manufacturing Company is a multidisciplinary shop, including sheet metal, welding, finishing, electrical, plumbing, and refrigeration.
A typical day includes new problems to solve as you work to produce a one-of-a-kind drinking fountain for an art museum or one of your favorite brands. We’re looking for people that take pride in their work.
Skills and Qualifications
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and cut sheets
- Experience using sheet metal cutting, bending, and welding techniques
- Ability to work independently, but in a team atmosphere
Salary
- $18.00 – $25.00 per hour
