Filtrine TMS1-5.0 Taste Master Point of Use (POU) Water Purifier

Removes 5 Micron Particles, Organic Tastes/Odors, Chlorine Taste/Odor; Flow Rate: 1.5 gpm

TMS1-5.0

The TMS1-5.0 has replaced the Filtrine Taste Master® 4TM. The world-famous Taste Master (TMS) purifiers are contained in a stainless steel housing with an easy-to-change carbon block element design. The point-of use (POU) water filter/purifiers are designed for an “under-fountain” installation.  They can either be installed behind a wall or in an optional “locking” in-wall cabinet (Filtrine Model IW) with a locking hinged door under the fountain(s).

Taste Master elements do not rely on cartridge compression. Filtrine's exclusive "Dual-Seal" design ensures first-day effectiveness for the life of the element.

Taste Master purifiers are also used to provide "food-grade" ingredient water for bakery and other chillers.

Specifications:

This model replaces the Filtrine Taste Master 4TM which has been discontinued.

The heavy-duty stainless steel Taste Master point of use purifier housings are rated at 150 psi working pressure. They are built to outlast the piping in the building. The carbon block (a naturally occurring material) used in the Taste Master purifier is biodegradable and can be replaced in less than 30 seconds, requiring no tools.

The Filtrine Model TMS1-5-5.0-CB carbon element meets the NSF/ANSI Standard 42 for removal of sediment down to 5 micron particles, organic tastes/odors and chlorine taste/odors.

For lead removal and a higher level of filtration, see the 0.5 micron Taste Master purifiers.

For installation behind a wall or in an optional “locking” in-wall cabinet, see the In-wall Filter/Purifier Specification Sheet in the Downloads section.
