Filtrine ES-2-RF-FS Drinking Water Free-Standing Chiller
Persons Served: 100, 1/5 HP Compressor, 1/5 HP Pump, 2 gal Storage Capacity
Filtrine's non-recirculating Model ES-2-RF Chiller/Purifier serves a consistent chilled 50°F drinking water. Unlike conventional electric water coolers (EWCs), Filtrine's ES Chiller/Purifiers contain a storage-type cooling tank with a stainless steel immersion coil evaporator. This unit builds up a reserve of chilled water during low usage periods to fill drinking water bottles and handle peak demands yet still meet the low average draw. A single free-standing unit uses less energy than multiple EWCs serving a comparable population. The Taste Master® purifier ensures water quality control.
Specifications:
Remote free-standing chiller/purifier serves chilled/purified water to a single fountain. Includes a 2 gal. storage tank. Serves a population of 100, assuming 1 quart per day per person typical usage.

Schools
School systems throughout the US have become concerned about lead in their buildings’ drinking water. Old pipes and untreated city water are the main issues. Filtrine has two ways for schools to remove lead from drinking water.
- Filtrine’s vandal proof drinking fountains, bottle filling stations and electric water coolers are popular because of their durability. Point of use drinking water chillers and purifiers can be added to drinking fountains and bottle filling stations to eliminate lead, organic tastes/odors, chlorine taste/odor and pathogens. Any Filtrine drinking fountain/bottle filling station can be made “Hands Free” to cut down on germ transmission.
- Filtrine’s point of entry water filtration system uses pre-filters, purifiers and optional UV sterilizers. It delivers lead-free water throughout the school building. Visit Point of Entry Water Filtration Explained for more information.
