Water Efficiency: The use of "Filling Stations" to fill cups, carafes and personal water bottles saves water because you only take as much water as you need. Drinking from conventional bubblers wastes 60% of every drink ... water which just goes down the drain.

Energy Efficiency: Chilled water supplied from a remote Steri-Cool unit consumes less electricity than bottled water coolers and Electric Water Coolers (EWC's).

Material & Resource Conservation: Single source water delivery reduces materials and resources consumed by bottle coolers and/or electric water cooler's. Plastic bottles which clog landfills (estimated at 93 BILLION water bottles per year!) are eliminated. Usable floor space is reclaimed from bottle storage.

Indoor Environmental Quality: The remote chiller design, either in the plenum or mechanical room, is secure - start to finish and not subject to tampering or bacterial "invasion" no outside personnel have access to the system. Unlike 5-gallon cooler jugs, no bubbles filled with stale, germ-laden air contact the drinking water each time a drink is taken. Because the chiller is remote, noise in the corridor is reduced.
